Renewals In White Plains

Thursday, March 05, 2009 – Heritage Realty Services, LLC announced three, long-term lease renewals, including two renewal-plus-expansion leases, totaling 46,500 sf at Gannett Office Park. Gannett Office Park, owned by Heritage Realty Services’ affiliate Dryland Gannett, LLC is a three-building office development comprised of 2, 3 & 4 Gannett Drive in White Plains along the I-287 Platinum Mile corridor.
Homesite Insurance, which delivers home insurance policies and services to homeowners, condominium owners and renters in 45 states and the District of Columbia, renewed its 8,000 sf space and expanded by an additional 4,500 sf at 4 Gannett Drive. The 12,500 sf which had an asking rent of $28 per foot, will house the company’s New York sales office.
At 2 Gannett Drive, global export management company Dorian Drake International expanded its office space by leasing adjoining premises and now occupies half of the 23,000 sf fourth floor. The 2 Gannett building has served as the company’s world headquarters for over 15 years. Christopher O’Gallagher of Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant. The asking price was $28 per foot.
Insurance giant Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. renewed its own 23,000 sf lease and consolidated its Westchester County offices at 2 Gannett Drive for an additional six years. The space will continue to be one of the company’s primary New York offices. Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. is the world’s fourth-largest risk management insurance broker with more than 250 offices in nine countries. The asking rent was $28 per foot. Kim Mowers of Grubb & Ellis represented the tenant.
