Heritage adds new brokerage division

Boutique commercial ownership and development firm, Heritage Realty Services, is adding a new brokerage division to its roster of services.
The company, which owns and manages more than $400 million in commercial real estate across New York City and Westchester, is now offering office and retail brokerage services to landlords and companies in the New York City area.
Industry veterans Joseph P. McCluskey, Jr. and Daniel Wernicki have joined the firm to lead the company’s leasing efforts.
“Landlords and tenants have often approached us to represent their interests over the years, so adding a brokerage division to Heritage Realty Services was a natural progression of our business,” said George T. Constantin, president and CEO of Heritage Realty Services.
“Joe and I go back to our days at Helmsley-Spear when we worked under the guidance of Harry Helmsley. With Joe and Dan on the team, Heritage now has a combined 75 years of experience.”
McCluskey most recently served as a senior managing director at Murray Hill Properties. Wernicki, has spent the last 10 years as a commercial real estate professional in the Los Angeles area.
In addition to its brokerage services, Heritage provides property management, investment and advisory services. The firm specializes in the acquisition and asset management of properties that include the retail condominium at 420 Fifth Avenue, 67 Irving Place and 12 East 52nd Street in Manhattan, as well as Gannett Office Park in Westchester.
